Service • Tia Fitzpatrick (10M) and Eva Seet (12B) received the Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award, recognising students who demonstrate leadership and teamwork in service of their school and community.

• Johanna Conomos (10W) and Matina Samios (12W) received the inaugural ADF Future Innovators Award for their critical thinking and problem-solving ability in STEM subjects.

• Catherine Lee (12W) received a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Clubs and Activities

• Eve Zelich (11L) won the Australian Mensa Poetry Competition.

• Sienna Askew (8L), Camille Bloomfield (8G), Keira Crouch (8G), Wenke (Levi) Gao (8G), Dorothy Rae (8G), Vani Ranjan (8G) and Anshika Singh (8R) were awarded Honours and a Spirit of Opti-MINDS Award in the Opti-MINDS competition.

• Ruby Galligan (8R), Zoe McElwaine (7G) and Kathryn Petersen (8O) placed 3rd in the Queensland Association of Mathematics Teachers Quiz for Year 7 and 8 students.

• Cheng (Elizabeth) Yan (8G) placed 2nd in the Native Speaker Category of The University of Queensland’s Chinese Writing competition.
