YEAR 11 BIOLOGY This year, Biology has been fantastic. It is the most beneficial science for understanding life in our universe. The Grade 11 Biology cohort had the pleasure of learning about all forms of life - from micro-organisms during the unit Cell Biology to our own bodies during the unit Human Physiology. We’ve learnt how to use microscopes and classify organisms. We also went on field trips to the Sunshine Coast and Stradbroke Island where we had the opportunity to observe hundreds of different organisms, from the humble sea squirt to the majestic mangroves, in their natural environment. Biology is an intriguing and evolving subject and, as students, we enjoy exploring its vastness and complexity. With something new to unravel each lesson, biology never fails to surprise.
