OXFORD Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to spend a month living and studying abroad at Oxford University in the UK as part of the Oxbridge Academic program. Throughout my time at Oxford, I studied Drama as my major and Social Psychology as my minor. In Drama we cast, rehearsed and staged a full professional production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, and also travelled to London to watch an amazing piece of theatre at The Globe. Outside of class, there were guest speakers, organized sports, dances and many other super fun activities. Overall, the experience was absolutely incredible and taught me so much, and also allowed me to meet friends from all over the world. It was undoubtedly one of the best months of my life and I honestly cannot recommend it enough.

PARIS The Oxbridge experience in Paris was the most incredible life changing experience I have ever had. I made some amazing friends from the 140 students also on the program all participating in different combinations of courses, which for me were Paris à travers les âges major, an immersion course, and Photography minor. With my major class, we were rarely in the classroom, instead we were roaming the streets of Paris with our native Parisienne teacher who taught us about how reality of life compared to the cliché image throughout history. My minor was similarly never in a classroom for we were out taking
photos on old-fashioned film cameras, learning about controlling the light exposure and why not to expose your roll of film. Other than my courses, the program activities staff organised cheese and chocolate tastings, boat rides, visits to Versailles and a Château, museum tours, fashion shows, some sight-seeing and in- house games. This adventure has given me so much life experience, independence and great friends from a huge range of places. We will always have Paris.
