To say how much fun Humanities is would be an understatement - but the best thing all year was when the Geckoes man came to visit. it was so interesting to see all these endangered animals and learn about them - how they became endangered and what we could do to help. I think that we all took something away from this, and I know it made an impression!

The Geckoes visit was one of my favorite parts of Year a we had the opportunity to get close and personal with animals Some were cute and furry and others were scary and scaly, however they all had one thing in common they needed our help. This visit from these endangered species really opened up my eyes to how many species are actually at risk and how many we, as a community. can help This visit has really inspired me to donate to groups ra!sing money for this cause and to help stop it once and for all

When we went to the Main Building to research about the School's history. we were at the start of our journey - discovering new things about our new 'old' School as well as developing friendships and having fun while learning in a practical wa . it was a great way to feel connected to new friends and a new school

Humanities at Brisbane Girls Grammar this year has been interesting. informative and fun. My favourite part of the year was listening to everyone's speeches on endangered animals. it was fascinating to hear the different ways that people got their messages across about saving 'their' endangered animal
