Music c ass is so much fun. We sing, we play different instruments, and we even manage to fit in a game every lesson. The games build on concentration and give a sense of pride to the winner. I am looking forward to the canon singing group task. I know it will take some work. but it should sound really nice. The work we do in class is not only amazing Iy fun, but it helps with learning instruments outside of class. I love to play the songs we sing in class on my piano

Rehearsing with Topology

in Term 3. Year 12 Classroom Music students wrote compositions around the cartoons and poems of Australian artist MIChael Leunig. We had the opportunity to write for Topology (a professional instrumental group). The Australian Voices and Fusion (both choirs). giving us an insight into the workings of professional ensembles. The final production, titled 'The Secret of Happiness'. showcased a broad range of musical styles and instrumentations, from folk songs to pieces utilising all of the instrumental forces It was a fantastic musical learning experience
