2013 has been an amazing year for the O'Connorarians! This year we wanted to bring a sense of unity to the House, where all girls could form lasting relationships with each other. Our annual O'Connor House Party was the first opportunity for the girls to get to form these friendships, where a fun-filled afternoon of activities set us up for a great year to follow Our energetic Grade BS shone at Inter house Volleyball, where they made it all the way to the finals, finishing in second place! Term I continued with a splash at Inter house Swimming, overloading the stands with our O'Connor spirit and proving that we do indeed have some of our mascot Otis's swimming ability. inter house Cross Country was a huge success. resulting in our girls taking the crown for the third year in a row! In August all O'Connorarians took to their kitchens once again to bake our widely renowned and delicious brownies for our Open Day Stall. which was once again a favourite on the night. We could not be prouder of our Year IIS, whose hard work and dedication to the stall resulted in a complete sellout of brownies. All proceeds from this event went towards our much-loved House charity, the East Timor Children's foundation

Term 111 also brought Inter house Athletics, where the girls showed off their sporting abilities. outshining and surprising our competitors by placing an impressive 3rd We would like to thank our Sports Captains. Tori Gill and Georgie O'Hare, on their tireless efforts in preparing and leading our team of maroon athletes on the big day. The final event of the year was Inter house Choir. with our Choir Captains Jessie Wong and Georgia Hughes leading our musical Iy talented girls to a performance which displayed our House's bond and exceptional enthusiasm to the Grammar community This year would not have been so special for us without the help of our amazing Head of House, Ms Boyle, who made our year even more memorable. 0'Connor would not be the same without you, Ms Boyle! To all the O'Connor girls: we are so proud of the House spirit you have shown this year, and we are so privileged to have had the opportunity to lead you. We know that we are leaving O'Connor in good hands, and that the enthusiasm shown by you all in 2013 will carry on through years to come
