Oaktree's Hunger Games saw nine Houses (districts) battle valiantly in a dangerous obstacle course to raise $1200 for those in need. The Games ran over two days with the House and Sports Captains representing their districts. Each House had to sponsor their tribute in order to ensure they advanced to the final day of the Hunger Games. The three winning Houses from Day One were Hirschfeld, 0'Connor and England Beanland, with the most sponsorship raised. was able to revive their tribute so they could advance despite a controversial disqualification on Day One, Hirschfeld narrowly triumphed on the final day over Beanland

Through the Oaktree co- curricu ar group. we aim to make the odds in everyone's favour. All of the funds raised will go to support educating the disadvantaged In Cambodia. by providing scholarships which allow students to stay in school for origer. improving their chances to escape the poverty cycle and a life of hunger. Students from Oaktree have been meeting once a week over the school year to discuss the issues associated with global poverty and how we can create change In our global community
