611^'ANll\AAF? DANCE This has been a year of exciting new things for Grammar Dance. With increased numbers, three classes have been created to allow for different dance styles to be taught and more variety of groupings. A mix of genres - including jazz, hip hop and contemporary - has ensured all the girls have been able to experience new techniques and grow as dancers. Our alumna choreographer Mackenzie Burn has continued to teach with patience and energy. ensuring girls feel both challenge and success. Mackenzie has been assisted by Year 12 choreographer Adrienne Leeson-Smith <12G), who has engaged the dancers with her intensity and vigour

Our performance at Open Day was the first opportunity to showcase our hard work and for many was their first public performance ever. We were well rece!ved by the large audiences and it was a very exciting evening The highlight for the year was our November showcase. Friends and famil!es were entertained by a full programme, with solos and duos as well as whole group numbers. allowing the dancers to extend their performance skills even further Overall, 2013 was a very fun year for all the dancers involved and we are looking forward to 2014
