' group exhibitions. public commissions and scholarship opportunities. She presented wonderful sculptures and works fashioned from woven wire In second term, Luisa Rossitto presented her large- scale works on paper in the more traditional medium of watercolour. Her crisp and spare works, recombining images from popular culture. showed great enthusiasm in this context. The next cafe featured artist jeweller Barbara Heath. whose work ranges from jewellery pieces to small and large-scale public sculpture commissions. Barbera has been in practice for several decades, making her knowledge and passion for her work a pleasure to listen to and experience. Each cafe was intriguing and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Students appreciated these valuable opportunities to expand our understanding of the art community. As students, we are at just the beginning of our artistic careers, and it was refreshing to be able to see successful artists first-hand and to hear their personal experiences and passion for their art. Being involved in Art Cafe was truly amazing
