Headaches, Bruises, Bumps and Bangs, Ankles, arms and other limbs, Throwing up, a cold, the flu, 15 there anything else that you could do? A shirt, a skirt, a tie, a top, A pen, those books, you little crooks I Some shoes, a hat, have you got that? You've got one? Thanks, 1'11 take the lot! An ice-pack or a bed is near, For any ill, there is a pill Her linen cupboard's filled with all The pleasures of a schoolroom ball! For every single ache and pain, For all our more forgetful moments,

She stands in the doorway of her home of love, A sad smile crosses her face Her gentle heart breaks as she watches her son, With a light heart, leave her embrace She holds him and cries as he tells her with ease, Not to worry, for all will be well Yet though she hopes she knows within, Her husband will never come back She watches her Papa with a proud loving smile, As he marches along, in a row But how can she hope, when all who have left, Are yet to return to their homes They stand in the doorway from Heaven to Hell, As proud men march off to War Their heavy heart are not shared by their loves, Who will never return to shore Though their hope is strong, it fades away, For they'11 never return to the Motherland The wind has blown their spirits away, To keep, as they fight to save the day Though memories live on, Their days will not As they rest where poppies grow, Gone

She eases the pains of school, Our truest, loving sister, Sister

From out of her cocoon she steps, With a dainty and feminine tread, Her gentle wings spread, To air their beauty, As she steps out to greet the world The glistening colours that show themselves, As they glisten against the sunlight, A multitude of colour that blinds your sight, As she sparkles upon a leaf For the next few days she'll flitter and fly, Across the marbled countryside, But her wings will flutter one more time, As she lies upon that same one leaf Her beauty glistens as she lays, Her glistening happiness upon that leaf,

Then she lies still for one last time, To sleep her last, unending sleep
