The Wonder Factorg: Th^ salon of 2011 foster^d a wonderful relationship with the staff, volunteers and especially the children of the RBCH Wonder Factory. Each Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon a group of SIX girls went to the Wonder Factory and organised activities and games to entertain the children. We are sure all of the girls had a wonderful time and each had a unique experience. This is a traditional programme that we are proud to have continued and expanded Emergenc!, Assist Food Drive: The scho. I community came together once again to help fellow Queenslanders in their time of need, this time by donating non-perishable food items to families affected by the January floods. These were distributed through the group Emergency Assist, and we were pleased to be able to make a significant contribution through our donations World Vision' Years 8 and 9 gi"15 e^celled themselves this year with their enthusiastic support for two World Vision children. Year 8 House Groups sponsor Njeri Mercy Muigai in Kenya and Year 9 girls sponsor Alex Iefferson Quishpi Romero in Ecuador. Bake stalls were very well supported and a cheque for $900 was sent for each child, an amount which exceeded the required commitment. Each House Group then wrote a card to Quishpi or a letter to Mercy, with photographs and news of life at Girls Grammar

QCWA Linen Drive. Throughout Term ithe Year 10 House Group Captains ran a linen drive to support families in rural Queensland still recovering from the January floods. This initiative was a response to a request from the QCWA and was well supported by the energy and good organisation of the Year 10s. Six boxes tightly packed with new sheets and towels were handed over to be sent to those in need

ECUmenicol Coffee Brigade' The ECUmenicalCoffeeBrigadeis avoluntaryorganisation that offers the homeless and marginalised people of Brisbane food and a hot drink 365 days a year.

Each and every morning a va goes out on the street equipped Brisbane's homeless brighter. Mrs Barker and Mrs Zealand with sandwiches, fruit, coffee and tea. This may be the only meal facilitate the affiliation with the ECUmenical Coffee Brigade. Their that the people who receive these provisions will have all day and dedication to the cause and time taken to supervise and assist the thus 15 an incredibly worthwhile cause. The centre is located in groups making sandwiches have been greatly appreciated. it is Spring Hill so for the past few years Grammar girls have had the such a practical and rewarding way to assist the disadvantaged and chance to think locally and support their surrounding ommunity I hope the Year 125 continue their efforts when they leave school
