Pink Dog: This year it was decided to continue supporting Breast Cancer Research as a major service fundraiser. As young women, this charity is very significant to all of us, even more so because many of us in the School community have had experience, through family, friends, and workmates, with this disease. The Pink Day campaign was launched this year at the Mother and Daughter Dinner and Debate, and CUIminated in a charity celebration day at the School. On the morning of Wednesday 25 May the School was brightly decorated with pink ribbons and balloons and the girls dazzled everyone with their original and clever pink costumes. Throughout the day the Student Council sold National Breast Cancer Research Foundation merchandise to staff and students and elevated the spirit throughout the School At lunch, the sausage sizzle and creaming soda spider stalls were kept busy while the girls danced their worries away on the black floor on Level3 of the CLC. it was a great day and we raised $2416.90
