2011 HAS PROVED To BE A WONDERFUL YEAR FOR THOSE IN THE WOOLCOCK NEST. IN KEEPING WITH LAST YEARS MOTTO OF "RAISE YOUR CREST AND BE YOUR BEST': EACH WOOLCOCKATOO WARRIOR HAS APPROACHED THE YEAR WITH SPIRIT, DETERMINATION AND PERSEVERANCE.

I may not reach th in, but I can look up and see the, r beauty bel^^ve in them rid try and follow where they lead We believe this sentiment to be so important for every Grammar girl and we wanted to encourage this attitude within our own yellow nest Along with the Student Council motto, ' Feel the G-Force, Be the G-Force, Embrace the sister hood" we endeavoured to encourage a yellow sister hood, unrestricted by ages or Year levels

Afte helping ou Year 8 hatchlings settle into the nest, the year took off to a flying start The first semester was filled with bright, happy yellowness, specifically at the House Party where much mess was made and lots of yellow cake eaten, adding up to a good time had by all. Inter house events such as swimming, cross country and athletics showcased our sporting heroines and, while Woolcock did not place in the top three overall, our demonstration of yellow spirit won everyone over. Year 8 also represented Woolcock House wonderful Iy in the inter house Debating Competition, fighting w th words and reaching an exceptionally high standard.
