O'Connor started 2011 with a splash by testing our supreme swimming capabilities at the Interhouse Swimming amival. We showcased our unrivalled cheering abilities when we unleashed our new O'Connor ouse war cry. After taking the Swimming Carnival by storm and winning Best House Spirit. we again showed o r athletic prowess by winning first place in the interhouse Cross Country for the first time! All the girls participated gnificently as we puffed our way up the infamous Victoria Park hills decked out in our maroon gear.

Girls who displayed that extra bit of maroon spirit on these days were awarded the highly coveted O'Connor Spirit Award. However it was not just at special inter house events that our O'Connor spirit shone - every week at O'Connor House assemblies the girls enjoyed playing group games and trivia to buil friendships across the Year levels rid have a bit of fun before the school day began.
