Tbi81nternational Aw&rd is an exciting Belt^evelopment progrn. mine av&nable to all young people worldwide, ulpping th in with the Ite skins to in e a difference to themselves, their communities and the world. in 2010, our membership base remains very strong with 136 girls involved in the progrn. mine. The Award Bobeme allows participants to achieve at Bronze Silver or Gold levels. Each award level requires girls to coinplet sections in Be vie , skins, physic recreation and adventurous journeys. The time requirements 8880eiated with each Beetlon increase with each award level, Students are encouraged to choose activities that win extend and challenge them. The service section of the Award require8 girls to make a regular commitment to a community service provider. Tills section helps girls to develop a 'der awareness of their community a d to understand their responsibility to others' it has clear links with the School's Year 10 Service Programne. The skills Beetion often extends studentB' existing participation in o0.0urrloul activities at Schoolsueti 88 music, drama and dance. Stintl Iy, the physical recreation section requires girls o challenge themselves

in their chosen sporting activity. The adventurous journey section encourages girls to move outside their comfort zones and embrace the unknown in a 8pirit of adventure. We offer two adventurous journey expeditions each year involving extended oventtght bushwalks in challenging environments. This year, girls completed 82coedltions to Eraser 1818nd National Park and the Sunshine 0088 hinterland.
