in March, Drama Captains Carly Taibot and Caroline Gasteen professionally directed the inter house Drama team. Mackay presented an innovative production of the Wizard of Oz with a 2I st Century commentary Annie Kate Vann 11 IMj applied her talent and vivacity, to create a lively Dorothy and was enthusiastically supported by a well-rehearsed cast Mackay finished Term I on an incredible high by winning the interhouse Cross Country Competition for the first time by one point only. There were many strong individual performances on the day and Julia Wills 19Mj is to be congratulated on her outstanding effort, resulting in her winning the 14 years age group Mackay was out in force on 30 July which saw all girlsjumping, running and throwing at the Interhouse Athletics Carnival Sports Captains Rebecca AMer and Jessica Sandford

fun! This is exactly what Mackay House has experienced in 2004. Mackay has continued to outshine the other Houses with our exceptional displays of House spirit.

The Year 8 class were warmly welcomed at the House Party in February. On parade was a fantastic display of 'angel' costumes and the Year 85 were the standout winners of the War Cry competition. The Interhouse Swimming Carnival followed the next day and the Mackay war cries echoed throughout the Chandler Swimming Complex. All Mackay
