Ashwati started her karate journey in Seibukan K rate in India at the age of three. Moving to New Zealand at the age o twelve and a h meant that she had to end

one karate Journey and begin a new one, as Seibukan Karate was not recognised worldwide Therefore. she began her new Journey, in Shotokan Karate, which provided her with the opportunity to fun her dream of becoming a Black Belt Karateka Her next goal is to train for a place in the Australian Team to represent Australia in the next World Shoto Cup' in New York
