four Meet The Music Concerts During the spring holidays, Nadia My rs 11 IMj and Anna Jacobson 11 IMj partic pat d in the State Honours Ensemble programme hosted by the Queensland Conservatorium Musicians from a range of Brisbane schools were divided Into three different w'rid ensembles, each directed by local and international conductors. The final c ricert was held in the Conservatorium Theatre, where the girls represented the School with admirable flair Term N was extremely busy with the annual Gala Concert held in the third week at Brisbane City Hall. The musicians dazzled the audience with their talent and thoroughly enjoyed the jazz theme. The next evening was the first ever Music Dinner to replace the Farewell Concert. This night was a huge success and much-loved traditions were maintained. The Spring Concert was the final formal performance for intermediate and Junior ensembles. The year ended with the festive Carols Under the Stars, an evening of fun for the whole School community featuring the bands, choirs and, of course, Santa Claus. The night proved to be a fitting conclusion to the best rid busiest musical year yet
