>... The 2004 Basketball Season proved to be successful and
fulfilling for all involved. Ninety girls competed in the aGSSSA coinpetit, on and all players endeavoured to make the most of the s ason. A major step in achieving this was building team spirit not only within teams, but also within the Grammar Basketball community as a whole. Th Opentamtoo o thecha riges of this tough competition with vigour and finished the season in fourth position. For most of the team, it was their first season playing in this division. A special Open uniform was an initiative that recognised the ath etes' achievement in making this team Grammar fielded two SeniorA teams w ich gave t e School the opportunity to demonstrate its great depth of talent The SeniorAl team is to be congratulated on their good sportsmanship, which was noted by the umpires. The team remained undefeated until the final game of the season against Moreton Bay College, finishing second overall. The Senior A2 team placed sixth, the best result for the A2 team to date

Under 16 team. The Under 16 team won the Grand Final in a thrilling game against Falcons White. This is the first time in six years that a Grammar team has made the final series in the BBl competition.
