placing second in both the relays and overall coin petition. Peta Masters, Sally Fanguhar and Vanessa Lusink are to be congratulated for being crowned age- champions in the Year 8, Year 9 and Year 11 age groups respectively Second Term saw the House come together again in a vibrant display of yellow at the Inter house Cross Country competition. The traditional enthusiasm of Woolcock was on show, with a fantastic turnout for the event Despite the grueling course, most ran across the finish line with a somewhat tired but jubilant smile on their faces, with many Woolcockians placing in the top ten! Inter house Athletics came in the midst of busy Term Three, and was not only a successful day, but a momentous historical moment for Woolcock House. The loom Under 17A relay team, strode to victory for the fifth consecutive Year, making this Woolcock relay team unbeatable for their whole duration at School! Congratulations girls! As usual, copious amounts of Yellow was seen in the stands and on the ovals, with great enthusiasms being shown by all who attended. The atmosphere was bright and happy, and despite the placings everyone left feeling a winner Another important event on the Inter house calendar in first term was the Inter house Drama Competition. Capably directed by our Drama Captain, Felicity Austin. Woolcock performed an original play called Plastic Diamonds, by Lauren Williams, a senior drama student. An extremely talented cast, backed by an efficient stage crew, ensured that this entertaining piece was
enthusiastic cries of "Wooly Wooly Wooly" were always heard. An enormous amount of thanks must go to Mrs Bailey and all our wonderful House Group Teachers, Miss Axelsen, Mrs Kiolle, Mr Devoy, Miss Dufty and Ms Thomas for all their su pport, dedication and advice throughout the Year. It is always greatly appreciated Lastly, good luck to the girls who, after five Years of yellow hairspray and zinc, are moving on to greater adventures. The seniors of 2003 are to be thanked and recognised for their hard work, House spirit and much-needed sense of humour. Through five Years together as a House Group, countless House events, Year 8 camp and the ups and downs of being seniors, we have come through it with many unforgettable experiences and some amazing friendships Thank You to each and every one of You, and to the entire Woolcock House for making 2003 a year we will never forget and good- luck to the seniors of 2004; You will no doubt lead the Woolcock House to even greater heights Madelin Newman House Captain

Right from the outset, it was apparent that in 2003 the Woolcock Warriors were a force to be reckoned with. Banding together under our Yellow banner and with the ever-present inspiration of our mascot, the mighty little Woodstock, each and every Woolcockian enthusiastically ensured that 2003 was a fu n-filled successful and memorable year The Year began by welcoming a new generation of Warriors to the House Greeted by a group of excitable Year 125 (complete with attractive yellow sashesI. these new Grammar girls quickly saw what the Woolcock spirit was all about. After chatting with their buddies and getting to know their way around the School, they all settled in extremely well to the Grammar way of life and added a bubbly new dimension to our House. The first test of the Year BS talent came in the form of the tightly contested Year Eight Inter house Volleyball Competition. Not only did our girls show amazing team spirit but, backed by their dedicated supporters, they were runners up in a closely fought final. it was an awesome effort by the girls and a fobulous way to kick off the Year Our annual House Party was held in the third week of first term and as always it was a fun, loud and very Yellow afternoon. The talent and intellect of the girls was put to the test in the Miss Woolcock competition with Amelia Duncombe and the Year 10s taking out this prestigious award. Dressed in some of the most imaginative combinations of Yellow clothing possible, all of the girls had a fantastic afternoon Woolcock House has performed very well in the Interhouse Swimming Carnival in recent Years and 2003 was no exception. Under the excellent organisational skills of our Sports Captains, Jennifer Nicholls and Katherine Sheehy, Woolcock swam amazing Iy well,
performed with much exuberance and energy. A huge amount of work was put into the performance and Felicity and everyone involved is to be recognised for their excellent commitment. The aim of Woolcock House is to encourage every girl to feel comfortable and secure in the School environment and this was
achieved in 2003 through the strong bonds of friendship which developed within House Groups and between Year levels. The talent and diversity of our girls were demonstrated in the variety of success we had in all of the Inter house competitions
and the constant spirit displayed by all grades ensured that the
