Technology Studies in 2002 has been, for me, an extremely demanding. challenging Yet remarkably rewarding experience. The work is ongoing throughout the Year with design. construction and appraisal elements required for both a major and minor project. The subject does allow for creativity but mostly encourages a planned and critical approach to the realization of the initial vision Innovative designs and function a accessories are encouraged to allow for demonstration of not only the basic woodwork, leadlighting and metal work skills but also more intricate and advanced techniques in some areas. Although very daunting at the beginning and when difficulties arose, personal perseverance and guidance from the teachers allowed the hurdles to be overcome and a greater sense of achievement to be gained
