Reflections from the Grave

The Colours of Nature

A ghostly mist rises To enter the deadly cold night. Weeping hands reach out to grasp your spin While the breath of death mourns For grey, ancient memories, Crumbled and cracked forever; When your existence fails, You will dwell beneath the feet of sinners Either ending misery and sorrow Or closing the gates of bliss and rapture When you reflect upon your vitality Will storm clouds gather? Or will a warm fire kindle within your heart?

Crimson blue Of the sparkling sea Lavish green

Coating every leaf Ragged mountains Touching white fluffy clouds Nothing making a sound Jagged grey rocks Piercing deep into the ground Dead dried grass Brown and bare The wind timing the waves of tre Carries my silent thoughts And dreams

The Bush and Its Wilderness Tall trees with their branches spreading up towards the rays of light give Insects and birds a home The leaf litter crunches beneath my feet A steep winding path directs me where to go Wild flowers bloom radiant colours A pool of fresh cold water A bounding sound A wallabyjumps to have a drink Vines weaving around trees A frog croaks as I pass As the track nears its end, a cool white mist, large rocks
