2001 has been an exciting year for the Year12s With so many activities and events, the grade has really become a to he51ve'group. This was particularly evident when the Year 125 yelled out numerous war cries on the morning of the QCS Test. Never before had the School heard such enthusiasm and team spirit. Mrs Hancock even commented that in all her years at
Girls Grammar. no grade had ever done that before. However this team spirit was actually founded right at the beginning of the year with the Year 1270s and 80s Retro Dance Party. This fun-filled night had girls Fading their wardrobes to dress up in bad outfits such as pink legwarmers
especially with the costume, hairdressing and dancing competitions that took place The next event organised was the Year 12 Movie Night. With high school prom movies shown, it was the perfect lead up to the Formal. Held in the same week on the last day of term, the Convention Centre was transformed Into a breathtaking arena
of coloured lights. Everyone looked absolutely stunning in their beautiful dresses as they danced the night away. After the excitement and stress of the Formal, the Year 125 went back to school to gear up for the dreaded QCS where we demonstrated the meaning of the School's favourite word, cohesion. Throughout the year, the Big Project has also continued to be extremely successful, with a number of activities undertaken such as the Talent Quest, which evidently the Year 12 Backstreet Girls won, a lot of money being raised for the Royal Children's Hospital As the year draws to a closerear 12 girls will look back at their final year of high school and realise their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm has really been something to be proud of as the 2001 Leaders of the School
with bright yellow bike pants The night was a huge success,
