A NEW ENCOUNTER

When we walked the school at first, a loneliness swept through us all, Where were those friends from past school years to welcome us with a friendly call? We started off term one ablast;interhouse drama had come our way We rehearsed, we practised, and learnt our lines, until the end of the very last day. Term two was just a little harder, with more essays, tests and challenges, Eventually, camp came along, a date that was full, in our calendars. And then term three, with interhouse choir, and came this time with a little more groove. Again we practised on and on until we got that final move. And also there was athletics day, by this time we all new each other's names, We ran like crazy, cheered like mad, and finally we finished bur games: And now we've finished, grade eight is nearly gone, It's nearly time to go back home.

So come back next year, once again, And meet all of last year's good old friends.
