was finnly established from the very begirming of the year. Their seniors, Danae Sage and Me Ton Tierney, who supervised the "fat" and "skimy" domm, adrriired the grade for their tremendous personalities and unique talents.

spirited, lively and enthusiastic girls in the school and the Boarding House could not have become the place that it is without the efforts of these girls' Leading the Boarding House was not a difficult task with such a supportive group of girls always ready to lend a hand. We would like to thank our fellow Year Twelves for everything over the last five years and especially the role they played throughout the year as the eldest
The Grade Elevens were finally able to experience a social this year, and the coining together of the boys from Manst College and the girls from Grainmar proved to be relnerkably successful. While no senxi-formal invitations were secured, a great night of dancing, games and entertainment was had by an in 1998, this extraordinary bunch of girls encountered many exciting occurrences, including some very memorable donn outings. We wish them best of luck for the conxing year

Boarding is not an easy tnng to do, but these girls have always brought laughter, excitement, character and fun into the house - and despite the beliefs of some, we made it through to the end!! While 1998 initially brought many changes to the Boarding House regarding staff and dormitory allocation, the boarders adapted well and son proceeded to have an excellent year. Despite the knowledge that we are an endangered species at Grainmar, the boarding tradition of fun, laughter, to gethemess and strength continues as boarders demonstrate the spirit, vitality and friendship that only community living can produce. To all boarders, good luck for the next few years and always remember that while the Boarding House may cease to exist in the not too distant future, our memories will remain in our hearts for a lifetime and beyond

At the conclusion of 1998, it is time for the Grade Twelves to say good-bye to the Boarding House. The seniors, many of whom have boarded for five years, will bid a sad farewell to the younger girls and cherish the memories they have accumulated over the years.
