Olympics to Georgie Dent and Carti Loane, Miss Past to Emuna Montague, Miss Future to Almabelle Vaughan, Miss Hollywood to Breanna Ryan and Miss Dodge-a-rama to Katherine Coyne and Susannah George. Thanks must be given to the senior boys from the BGS boarding house who escorted the girls and adapted to each category with character and style. The nighi finished with another display of boarders' spirit as we fumed up the music and converted the auditorium stage into our own dance floor. it was indeed a most memorable sight!

The next day was spent on the BGS oval as some girls enjoyed games of touch football and volleyball while others decorated themselves with supplies from the art box and were trans- fomiedinto African tribes-people. This was certainly indicative of the way the year was headed as an the girls had an excellent time and the aimosphere of the House was indeed one of warmth and laughter. This continued as we headed off to Wet'n'Wild for a day of swimimng, sliding, sunning and socialising. A great time was had by an and the BGGS boarders were certainly the most sought after the girls of the day as we were joined by BGS, Toowoomba Grainmar and Churchie boarding houses

Weekends in the Boarding House were fun of dance parties, aerobics classes, abstract poetry competitions and creative art sessions, as well as socials with visiting boys schools and trips to the gym. The Grade Eights and Nines also ventured off to the school's Outdoor Education Centre at finbil for a weekend of horse-riding, swilluning, canoeing and general relaxation. Our second Trivia Night saw the Seedy Murrets surge ahead to victory and the hidden talents of Rosie Walden surface in the field of poetic performance. This night also demonstrated the wide range of talent amongst the girls as they were presented with difficult questions from a variety of topics but still managed to produce many original and alternative answers

The boarders' concert then demonstrated the true genius which exists within the waris of the House as the girls performed (with Trimimal preparation time) quality items ranging from cabaret songs to original short plays. Special mention must also be given to the Boarding House Staff who made their stage

After an intense competition of the highest standard, the judges' decisions were finally announced with Miss International awarded to Nicole Bertram, Miss
