GECO
ECO - Grammar Environmental Conservation Organi- sation - is the school's only club dedicated to presetv- Ing OUT environment. GECO's aims are to educate the school in the areas of waste management, environmental issues and to make the school more environmentally friendly Our shed which was renamed last year 'GECO GAZEBO' which is located above the tennis courts has kindly been repainted in cream by the Fathers' Group. Our organisation extends its appreciation to them for carrying out this tedious job. 11 looks wonderful

GECO's fund- raising efforts this year have in- cluded support- ing World Envi- roninent Day on June 5th by sell- ing green rib- bone, and a Green Basket Raffle and the sale of plants on our School Day stall GECO is currently investigating the possibility of ways in which power can be conserved within the school GECO has continued to make the school community aware of ways in which we all can help to preserve OUT environment New members are always welcome to come and join in these efforts a
