Ski Trip

here was no snow! And so began the 1998 Ski Trip. This did not, however, dampen the spirits of the girls or their three supervisors, Mrs Edwards, Ms Hennessey, and Miss Dare After a hearty bleakfast beginners and pros alike headed to front valley to battle the patchy slopes On the first day, few skied. Most slid, and some fell, but all got up - except one. ILilie. On the first run of her first day of her first skiing trip ever, June badly damaged her knee. However,

On the third night, many girls geared Lip again, after a day of skiing, to ITit the slopes once Inore for night skimo - an adventure in itself. The highlight for most girls, however, was when their quest for. snow finally ended. On Wednesday night, after a day of rain and gale-force winds, it snowed. Although the fall didn't cover all the patches, it did improve the slopes, allowing for plenty of rent skiing ova the last days When the trip finally came to an end, no one wanted to leave
