THE MACKINIAY SCHOLARSHIP Founded in 1903, this is the bequest of

Lady Dickson formerly Miss Mackinlay, Headmistress of the School (1878 - 1881). The Scholarship is awarded to the most successful student in the final year of school who is proceeding to the University. It cannot be held concurrently with any other scholarship. SARAH WOODGATE

PROFESSOR DOROTHY HILL PRIZE This prize celebrates the life and work of Emeritus Professor Dorothy Hill AC, CBE, and is presented to a student proceeding to the University of Queensland to undertake the study of Science or a Science-based course. Awarded on successful completion of first year studies at the University of Queensland. ANNIE MACKAY BURSARY This bursary was established by the Old Girls' Association in memo1y of a former Headmistress of the school, Miss Annie Mackay 1915 - 1924 and was first presented in 1934. DORIS TOWNSEND (WARAKER) BURSARY - Tennis This prize is a bequest from the Estate of the late Doris Townsend (Waraker) and is awarded to a girl in Years 8, 9 or 10 who has displayed significant potential and true sportsmanship in Tennis. SIDNEY CUBASCH MILISENT A WILKINSON PRIZE FOR SCHOOL TENNIS CHAMPizON This award arises from a bequest from the estate of Miss MA Wilkinson, Headmistress of the school, 1900 - 1912 for 'the use of the pupils ... so that they may be able to become fine sportswomen and noted tennis players' .
