Thanks also go to Laura Marshall, the legenda1y vice house captain, and to Alison O'Dwyer and Maria Lalousis the wonderful house sports captains. It has been a fantastic year for England House, and on behalf of 12 England, I'd like to wish the seniors of 1998 all the best for the year to come. NAOMI BURKE-SHYNE HOUSE CAPTAIN

Finally, England eagles flew down for a day of running, jumping and throwing for the interhouse athletics, held at Churchie. Placing fourth overall England had some fantastic achievements throughout the day. Cheered on by many scream- ing blue suppotters, Kath Barram broke the existing record for hurdles , Sophie Cameron placed second in her age division, Alison O'Dwyer, the house sports captain, won her age division and Sara Kendall of Year Eight, tied with an O'Connor athlete for overall school athletics champion!
