On TLiesday 31 May. the Advanced String Orchestra lead by Philippa West (ITE) competed in the Pine Rivers Music Associa- lions String OrclTestra Section at ASPIey State High School, and acquitted them sei\, es extremely well, placing first, and once again, Taking the ATriaga Trophy, donated by HeIen Lancaster On Thursday 2 June we welcomed a brass quintet "Polished Horns" for a lunchtime concert on the Flagpole lawn, whose members included BTOnwen Mackenzie, a member of our own inLisic staff On Friday 4 Itine, the ILinior Concert attracted a record audience in the Gehrinann Theatre with a theme of "Magic and Mystery of Music".
