Ceremony, BGS dazzling production of the musical B"gay Matone at Centenary Hall, Hilton Hotel inaugural "Friends of BGGS Dinner", not to forget OUT own rigorous performance schedule celebrated on Campus in the Auditorium and Gehrmann Theatre with the Prom Concert, Junior Concert, School Day and this year's very special Vocal Concert enii- tled "Voices in Time" which celebrated five centuries of vocal music 10 an overflowing Gehrmann Theatre. This involved all three Auditioned Chamber Choirs, individual students of voice, music elective classes performing very exciting original and innovative compositions for Voice, the BGS Grammarphones, and guest artists including past student Tania Botsman and the very special composer/performer of Voice Harmonics, Sarah Hopkins. The use of dry ice, candles and sparklers added to the evenino's total entertainment and variety
The Choral Program has successfully echoed these expres- sions from within its journey through Ihe labyrinth of rich and varied music making experiences during this exciting musical year of 1993. We have celebrated each of the 400 voices involved in the 5 choirs at BCGS, by the simple recognition, that each voice is a unique "voiceprint" as distinctive as a fin- gerprint; each voice celebrates an individual identity in its contribution to BGGS and celebration of singing and this year, there has been much singing 10 celebrate with

Another highlight of the year has been the formation of a new and very talented Junior auditioned choir, called the 8/9 Vocal Ensemble. This is a 20 voice auditioned chamber group from "voices" within the 8/9 Chorale, already renowned for their repel'101re of Songs For Feline Friends - four different songs exploring Cals!
