in addition to studying at various TAFE Colleges in a subject of their choice, the girls all work at school-based subjects which CUIminate in a Certificate in Commercial and Office Fundamentals. They achieve this IhrouglI study in a variety of areas - particularly Computing and Small Business Studies This Certificate nTay be used by the girls in order to gain employment next year, or 10 help them gel into TAFE Associate Diploma and Certificate courses

Environmental Studies Excursion

Achieving a good Senior Certificate is the most important focus of the work in Integrated Studies, and this year both Year I I and Year 12 students participated in a challenging and varied range of subjects which included Maths in Society, Enolish Studies, Social and Legal Studies, Creative Expres sion, Drama and Communication, Computing, Enviroitmenial Studies, Conversational Japanese, Small Business Studies and Physical Education The Year 12 students have finished their Senior Studies willI a Senior Certificate and a Certificate in Commercial and Office Fundamentals. Some girls will also have a Visual Art and Design Certificate, and others will have completed most of the Childcare Certificate. A number of the Year 12 SIu- dents will access TAFE courses and know that they can upgrade 10 Universities courses later if they wish. Others will seek employment, perhaps following Lip on the Work Experience in which 111ey have participated in during Years 11 and 12
