We are always very grateful to the Music Parents' Committee who provide much needed financial and practical support for our department. With the sales of the "Restoration Port" and the new B. G. G. S. watches, the Committee has been able to purchase many itew instruments needed in the department. They continue to provide unfailing assistance at concerts and functions in the forIn of suppers, Tames. ticket sales and stage clianging The choral program offers all students the opportunity to participate in a music ensemble and it is encouraging that almost 300 students are involved in this. The year will CUIminatein a special combined choirs ChristInas Service of Nine Lessons and Carols in St John's Cathedral. To the students associated with music at B. G. G. S. we extend OUT congratulations for an extremely successful year. To the teachers, we offer our thanks fortheirunfailing dedication. We look forward to Speech Day wliere the groups will combiiTe to present a program which reflects the hard work that has taken place in 1990.
