CONCERT CHOgR 19BB has been yet another year in which Concert Choir has proved to be one of the most popular groups in the entire Music Department. Apart from the obvious social advantages to being a member - the choir is comprised of singers from both Cirls' and Boys' Crammar Schools - many students see it as a great opportunity to sing music which requires a wider range of voices. Concert Choir performed in concerts at both schools during the year and many of its members also combined to form a very successf ul music camp choir. Thank you to our conductors, Miss Cook and Miss Buchanan, and our accompanist, Mrs FIemming. I hope everyone has as much fun next year. Penny Boys

,uNs@R eH@nR RFPORT Throughout 1988 the Junior Choir has participated in many enjoyable and worthwhile concerts and competitions. At the beginnings of the year, we sang in the music concert and also the Bicentennial Concert both of which were held at school. We performed a selection of Ausrralian folksongs to celebrate Australia's 200th birthday. On Saturdiy 13th August we participated in the Queensland Festival of Music at Chandler and were very excited when we were awarded second place as well as the audience vote in the Senior Traditional B Section. We would like to thank Miss Cook for allthe time and effort she has put into the choir and Miss Eaton for her asslstance. Thanks a lot! lt has been a great year. Melinda Pearson
