ETERNITY

For ever and ever arrived. Ever more, two useless words. The ga laxies would be in hiding, The universe gone.

Eternity is in the su n, In the stars,

In the moon, In the waves, In time.

No sun, No stars,

They never stop being. They 're there for always, Eternal in their presence. But if the sun shou ld stop rising,

No moon, No waves, No time, No life, No world at all. Eternity would have come.

The stars stop flickering, The moon stop shin ing, The time stand sti ll, And the waves stop beating on the shore, Eternity would have come.
