The team's success wou ld not have been possible, however, without our Coaches, Mr. Emery and Mrs. Orme, whose dedication and su pport were greatly appreciated " I would like also to thank my vice-captain, Samantha Parker, and wish the team the very best of luck in 1985.

SWIMMING REPORT Late January saw the commencement of the swimming season, for our dedicated swimming squad. The girls trained extremely hard and at the completion of two pre-a.C"S.S.S.A. time trials at St. Margaret's 9nd Musgrave Park Pool, it became apparent our team had the strength and rpirit to provide excellent competition for Brisbane State High. When Saturday, the 10th of March arrived, the girls of Grammar stood out f rom the crowd for their admirable team spirit, morale and individuality. Brisbane State High were once again victorious, however, and in a fine display of sportsmanship our team accepted second place. Thus the arduous training sessions def initely p.id off , f or the afternoon saw swimming of a very high standard with f irst placings being gained by Suellen Harris, lngrid Gallaghei, Lisa Tonelli, Susan McCann, Cathy Taylor.and the 1/ years and over B Division Freestyle Relay and the 13 years Medley Relay. the 17 yrs. and over Relay showed great courage and determination by coming from behind to snatch victorY. Our congratulations must also go to Lisa Tonelli for her two records in the 50 metres butterf ly and the 100 metres f reestyle and to Sheridan Scriven f or her outstanding perfotmances. Both girls also represented Queensland at the National Titles" Well done! Final points for the Aggregate cup were:
