This year Gramrnar was again the largest club in the competition, entering twoU/14 teams, four [J/15 teams, three U,/18 teams and an open "A" team. The 16,4 and 18A teams performed very well to reach the grand finals, finishing as runners-up. Congratulations must also be conveyed to the 18C team whose courage and determination led to a rewarding and humorous experience for players, coaches and spectators. Once again a large number of players were selected in representative teams. Four girls were chosen in the {-i,z16 Queensland team which toured New Zealand in December, and in March this year we had another six girls seiected in the U/18 Queensland team which competed in the national titles in Sydney. Also in March, trials were held for a North Brisbane Regional team and four girls from Grammar were selected, with Nadine Gerrard being chosen for the Queensland Schoolgirls Team. On behalf of the players, I'd like to thank the coaches who include past and present students, Mr. Madden and Carol Hudson. They all spent valuable hours training and encouraging their respective teams. nn particular thanks must go to Carol Fludson and Sue Gordon, the two head coaches, to whom we are indebted for the time and effort they spent with the teams.
