HOCKEY REPORT Hockey this season was not only popular (we were able to f ield f ive teams), but successf ul as the A and C teams stormed into close seconds and the B team was third. ln the A and B grades, State High proved to be the main op- position and they took out the premiership in both grades. Our games against them were hard fought, with a lot of effort being put in, especially by the goalies who did more work in these games than in any other of the season. ln the C grade, LG.G.S. were the team to beat, and although Grammar tied with them one-all, a defeat by Clayfield College in the last match of the season disap- pointingly gave lpswich the premiership. This year we were fortunate to have Miss Williamson to use her expertrse and knowledge as coach of all the teams. As well, Mr. Cooke, Mr. Madden, Mr. Kemp, Mr. Robb and Mrs. Cromie spent much time and effort coaching the A, B, 82, C1 and C2 teams respectively - their efforts were much appreciated. Good luck to all next year and have as much fun.
