S.R.C. REPORT S.R.C. began the year with great enthusiasm under the leadership of Jane Axon (President), Jacky Thomas (Vice-President), Stephanie Hancock (Secretary), Elizabeth Herganham (Assistant Secretary) and Lindsay Jobbins (Treasurer). Under the guidance of Mrs. Con- stable and Mr. Bromily, we began solving the many heart-rending and tedious problems of the school com- munity. Last year it was decided that two water coolers would be purchased. This year, a relative of one of the girls generously donated a water cooler. This is now operating down near the language lab. Through a cake stall and other activities S.R.C. is raising money for another cooler. Many girls continued last year's 6th form idea of collec- ting and distributing Easter eggs to the elderly people of the Windsor district. Then, with help from Mr. Logan, to whom we are very grateful, we were taken to the Wind- sor District Meals-On-Wheels. Here we helped to distribute food and Easter eggs. The elderly ladies and gentlemen were thrilled to see us and everyone had an enjoyable day. S.R.C. thanks all the girls who supported the proyect.

The brilliance of the S.R.C. was seen in the S.R.C. versus lnteract Siamese soccer match and in our victory, 3-1. With four pairs a side, the first goal was scoreo alrer a tricky manoeuvre by the S.R.C. President and Vice- President, leaving the rest of the field in a tangled mess. Two further goals were scored before half-time. The tide turned at the beginning of the second half when the ref (lnteract President) began io edge on the underdogs. Last year, Interact presented us with a gavel. This year to continue the interclub spirit, we presented the lnteract Executive with special badges. Our barbecue and films were very successful on School Day - thanks to our members, parents and girls. At present, we are re- organizing student cards which expired last year. We have had many offers of discounts from relatives of girls. I would like to thank everyone involved with S.R.C. for a most profitable year and hope that the same spirit will continue next year.
