In fact by this stage it is probably considered rather oassd. Anyway Boz Scaggs "Silk Degrees" is unani- mously voted UNREAL by all dedicated trendies. The ideal trendy boyfriend drives a moke, or better still a sin-bin (with curtains, whiplash aerial and mag-wheels)- He and. chick are stoked on tracks, mars bars, coke and occasionally - each other. During the holidays the trendiest places to be are Noosa or Burleigh. No self-respecting trendy would be seen dead catching the tubes at Surfers. School is tolerated by most trendies, however the favourite lessons are preps and lunch-hour. It does have its social compensations - being seen at the Myers bus-stop after 3.30, for instance. If you don't seem tomeasure up to Trendy requirements- don't despair. Just remember, Frank N Furter wasn't born wearing suspenders.
