FATHER AND DAUGHTER DINNER

T his year’s Father and Daughter Dinner provided a wonderful opportunity for Grammar girls of all Year levels to enjoy a memorable evening with their fathers. The night was full of laughter and high spirits, with guests enjoying a performance from the talented winners of the Gilles Vocal Ensemble Competition. Another highlight of the evening was the high stakes trivia quiz between a team of four Year 12 students and their fathers. After admirable efforts from both teams and some healthy competition, the daughters ultimately managed to secure the win. A memorable night for all! Josephine Fenech (11M)

MOTHER AND DAUGHTER DINNER

T o conclude an eventful Term 2, the BGGS Mothers Group supported the annual Mother and Daughter Dinner. The evening was one of nostalgia and gratitude, with guests serenaded by our Junior Choir (Encore), as well as by the magical harp music played by Remi Hirayama (12L). We were also entertained as our senior debaters and Grammar Women put valiant effort into the debate on the topic of being an influencer as a career opportunity. Despite powerful opposition, our student debaters came out triumphant. Overall, it was a beautifully organised night that ultimately celebrated and appreciated the relationship between mothers and daughters. Selene Lillis (12L) and Esandi Tennakoon (12B)
