INTERHOUSE CROSS COUNTRY
F illed with fresh air, crazy dress-ups, and plenty of House spirit, Interhouse Cross Country was definitely a highlight for all students this year. Unfortunately, due to flooding at Rangakarra, this year’s event was relocated to Victoria Park, just a short walk from our Spring Hill campus. Although the numerous hills led to a very challenging course, the day was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Whether you strolled along the course, singing your favourite songs, or
battled it out across the finish line for a blue ribbon, we were very impressed with the efforts of each and every Grammar student. The day concluded with a whole-School war cry and a delicious sausage sizzle from the Fathers Group. A huge thank you must go to everyone who worked hard behind the scenes to ensure that the day ran smoothly, particularly the HPE staff and Ms Duffy.
048 | BRISBANE GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL 2022
A special congratulations must go to the girls who won their respective age groups, you should all be very proud of yourselves. Additionally, O’Connor must be congratulated for receiving the most House points on the day. Finally, a huge congratulations to every Grammar girl who cheered their sisters across the finish line; your Grammar spirit really shone through. Shanna Heath (12L)
