The 1985 Ski Trip was off to a good start when excited , would-be skiers arrived at the B.G.G.S. gates, laden with unfamiliar luggage and great expectations.

Our luxurious coach departed Grammar around S.OOp.m. on Saturday 21st September. Excitement grew as we neared the snowfields and the first glimpse of the Ski Rider Motel , where we were to spend the next seven days, sent some girls over the top.

The next few days were filled with new experiences, thrills and many spills on the beginners' and intermediate slopes. After much practice and many bruises, we were let loose on the open snowfields of Smiggins/Perisher. The Grade 12 's were seen to be more cautious than most, keeping in mind their Year 12 Formal on their return. Girls enjoyed the night life as they invaded the town. The sights were unforgettably spectacular. When the coach pulled up at Grammar once again , all talented skiers agreed that it was indeed an experience of a life-time. Special thanks to all the teachers who made it a FUN TIME, particularly Miss Jan O'Sullivan who organized the tour.
