1985 School Magazine
Hi, all you Paw-Paws out there in Paw-Paw Land , this is Pete your Paw-Paw pitter-patter reporter. Remember that enormous fluores- cent orange monstrosity, which appeared on Assembly one rainy day? And the loud laughter and of course applause that was heard when everybody saw their first glimpse of the character behind the mystery voices? That was Radio Paw-Paw's new image.
Radio Paw-Paw's start
year, was as usual ve
slow. To the average
goings studio, Media
on in the
person the Paw-Paw under the were fright-
down
department
fully monotonous. But to the unique Paw-Paw pro ucers, thi studio meant the world to us, and eventually we extracted from the useless ramble, a marvellous Paw-Paw programme, which blasted the students during the lunch-hours. J) This year we started many ingenious competitions which you could enter, free of charge, and win fabulous prizes donated by various companies, which included a camera, pizzas, pancakes, Sportsgirl vouchers, Cue vouchers, Seaworld vouchers an the list goes on and on. { Radio Paw-Paw is a school-supported radio station and without the devotion of many Year 12 students, it would be non-existent. Thanks to everyone that helped this year. Best of luck next year and in the future with Radio Paw-Paw, and don' t let it become extinct. We enjoyed controlling it for a year.
