School Day: As there was no Grammar Fair this year, School Day was a major fund-raising activity. Proceeds went to the Swimming Pool Fund. A general stall, hot dogs and drinks stalls were conducted by Old Girls. A raffle of a paint- ing, generously donated by Mr. Wilson Cooper, was won by Miss R. Matthews. The raffle proceeds were £38/8 / 0 and £34/8/2 was made on the stalls. The present girls defeated the Old Girls at tennis and basketball, in both A and B ma~ches. Our thanks go to Noela Carr and Judith Smith who organised the Old Girls' teams for the basketball and tennis respectively. President's At Home: This year the President's At Home will be a Supper Dance at Maple Lounge. It is hoped that members will make an effort to be present at this final activity for the year.
