His fingers danced, like water over stone, Across the marble, rock and clay His eyes alight with life and hope, The fire now 15 burning bright The creatures danced across the room, With lightened hearts and feet Weaving a story that crosses time, Across their glimmering faces Their dainty steps are heard but once, Across the wooden floor Before the magic's finished up, And gone to sleep once more The brightest fire that ever was, 15 growing swiftly dimmer The creatures now around him crowd, Their differences now show There's Hope for more and now Despair, Looking upon the empty plate His eyes are dark, his mind is dull, As he stares across the empty room Where is the point of creating art, That nobody ever sees? Lying on pillows of soft air, Looking this way and that Gazing down at the world below me, And up at the skies above Watching in the peaceful darkness, Everything I love Soaring this way and that, Watching the world below me But the deepest of blues all around me I rise higher and higher till I reach the end, And the moon herself calls out my name Now diving down in an ocean of Peace, As I spread out my arms and fly! Now I'm whizzing through the trees, And the only thing I hear, Streaming through curtains of air, The wind flying through my hair My breath comes In gasps and I can't see a thing 15 the rush of the thrill of my life A cry like a child with happiness, As the dark shapes flash by my face Then I turn to the heavens with my arms spread wide, Letting pure joy fill my soul Then the Father has come, let me rest in his arms, 'till the dawn has come again Floating over tree tops, My hair ruffled back

A shadow in darkness is she, A breath of sorrow and hatred, Alone in the cold and hatred of her world, Living for anything but life, Melting into pavements, Drifting through walls, Leaving a silent path of emptiness Unseen, unnoticed Her palace is lined with jewels, Not known by any king Treasures no one would dare steal, Guarded by her heart Heirlooms from her greatest battle, A lock of hair, a shoe a sword Scars on inside and out, Wounds to take out on another Behind the curtain she has drawn around herself, Dark eyes hide dark thoughts, Cowering away from the open air On her face plainly written, Terror 15 etched as she faces her greatest foe She is struck down as she struggles To hold up the unbearable weight of her fear The law strikes harder,

Gouging hole in her empty stomach She struggles to fight her hunger, But there is no way out, For there is nothing left for her Her shadow floats from place to place She begs and pleads, Her rags and rats are all she's got And so she fades silently away, Her shadow is faint, Her empty presence filling Until she is gone, To find her own peace Unknown, Unloved In the crystal waters of a deep blue sea, A multitude of colour stares up at me The fish with all their spots and stripes, And stars and swords for everyone, They live a life of peace and quiet, In their land of colour, They have no cares or worries here, In their life of Colour A shadow passes overhead, The fish all scuttle home, And watch in wary wakefulness, As I, the monster, pass them by They peep from all their hidy holes, And wait with baited breath, Until their terror leaves them now, And they return to their life of colour
