2011 BEGAN AN OUTSTANDING YEAR FOR GRIFFITH HOUSE, SHOWING THE ENTIRE SCHOOL THE GRANDEUR OF GRIFFITH!
Whether they were winning ribbons he ring in the stands or just flailing in the pool, they all made the competition an amazing day for Griffith Thi spirit was sustained for inter house Cross Country where the Year I O girls shone, but in particular on Athletics Day where we proved to be a force to be reckoned with, placing second ov ralll As Open Day rolled around the day before the Charity Social the Year 115 put together a marvellous lob-a-choc and 1011y cup stall Raising a substantial amount of money for the House charity, Multiple Sclerosis, many of the Social diets went out the window.
The year started with the House Party which saw the pool lawn transformed into a sea of red. As a chance to strengthen and create bonds between all Griffithians across the Years, the House Party had the girls enjoying apple- bobbing and decorating cakes, competing for the title of Ms Reggie Redback and confessing their love for their House through poetic prose. Immense Griffith spirit was displayed in all Inter house events that took place throughout the year, led by our brilliant Sports Captains, Lucy Tudehope and Louisa Blair. Our sporting achievements started with girls showing their outstanding abilities in the pool for inter house Swimming.
