YEAR 9 MARRAPATTA It was nice to be away from my phone and just connect with both the environment and others. I love the sound of birds waking me up in the morning instead of my alarm clock. The night sky is so beautiful with the bright stars, and experiencing this with my friends was really nice and fun. CHRISTINE GREENLAND (9L) The sky was filled with stars at night and we were lucky to see part of an asteroid shower. MIRABELLE PUN (9H) Being at Marrapatta gave me an independent experience. With little teacher guidance, I have accomplished many things with my friends. I have learnt to engage with my friends, resulting in a greater social experience. JULIA SHIELD (9R) Camp this year has been a nice break , a chance to get to know people better and a help in figuring out myself and knowing my strengths and weaknesses. ANNA FLETCHER (9H)

My group chose to sleep out under a tarp, we all had to collect sticks and rocks to build the tarp but it was definitely worth it. The most memorable moment was when we all jumped off the canoe into the water and swam around. KATHRYN GIRDIS (9G)
