With the joyful theme of ‘Let’s Dance’, this year’s Gala held at the UQ Centre dazzled the audience with impressive and memorable repertoire written for, or inspired by, dance. Spanning classical, jazz, pop and folk genres, the students brought to life the dance music of composers and songwriters from Elton John to Glenn Miller, and Tchaikovsky to Marvin Gaye. The School’s annual celebration of music education lived up to its fine reputation with exquisite performances from our talented student vocalists and musicians.
